Lenten Life in the Spirit Seminars

Workshop for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

March 10 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Mount Calvary 6700 Marlboro Pike Forestville, MD 20747 - (301)735-5532

This workshop will instruct the faithful on how to serve effectively as an EMHC in the parish setting as well as when taking Holy Communion to the sick and shut-ins.  It is intended primarily for those who wish to be certified as an EMHC in the archdiocese of Washington, but the workshop is open to all.

 

 

Lenten Mass and stations schedule 

Following Ash Wednesday there will be 6:30 AM Masses on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This will begin on Friday February 16th.

On Fridays, Adoration will begin at 6:00 PM, bilingual stations at 7:00 PM and a "Simple" soup supper following in the hall.  Different ministries will be providing the soup suppers.

 

Second Collection 

There will be a second collection for the Developing World the weekend of 24-25 February.  Please be as generous as you are able.

   

 

 

MARRIED COUPLES RETREAT


Married Couples Retreat @ Priestfield Retreat Center in Kearnneysville, WV on March 16, 17,18 or March 23,24,25.  These retreats have been held for over 3 years and the couples who attend come away feeling spiritually refreshed and enlightened.  The Retreat Master will be Fr. Rick Kramer from the Office of Family Life of The Archdiocese of Washington in Washington DC.

Our Lady of Mercy Sodality: Annual Bingo
Saturday, March 3rd
